Bryce Dallas Howard Teases Dino On Jurassic World 2 Set

Jurassic fans have been fortunate enough to have Jurassic World star Bryce Dallas Howard on social media this time around for the sequel. Bryce has been sharing snippets from the set everyday that she is filming and this has been giving fans an obscure view of the production. Not only are these little glimpses fun to see, but it may also give us an idea of the order of which the scenes were filmed when the sequel is released next summer.

Yesterday was no different as Bryce took to her Twitter and posted a 9 second video. While initially this seems to be another obscure post featuring a video of the ground, it is the sounds you hear during the video and what this could mean for the sequel that have fans very excited.

As you will hear in the attached Twitter video below, Jurassic World sequel director J.A. Bayona is apparently getting the actors in the right mood for filming by playing dinosaur sounds on the set in Hawaii.

It is obvious those dinosaur sounds are of a Tyrannosaurus Rex and they sound very close to the sounds used in the original film ‘Jurassic Park’. Most notably around the 1:30 part of the clip below from the breakout scene.

In addition to the dinosaur roar, there are the sound of air blasts which is more even more intriguing and what makes this video really stand out. It could possibly be the sound of fog machines or even the hydraulics of an animatronic. All of this is assumption and can’t be verified at this time, but it is fun to speculate.

While this is just another small on set tease from Bryce, it is still enough to get fans excited. What do you think the air blasts were? Let us know your thoughts in the comment section below and on our forums.

Justice Smith excited for Jurassic World 2

During a video interview recently, which Jurassic Outpost has been unable to verify the date or the exact source of the interview at this moment, Justice Smith expressed his excitement for the upcoming Jurassic World sequel. It was first reported on December 1st by The Hollywood Reporter that Justice Smith was added to the cast. There have been unverified rumors that he could be playing a character by the name of “Clint” in the sequel.

In the 28 second video clip that was posted on the jurassicworldtrilogy Instagram account, Justice Smith, with a huge smile, had this to say:

Hi guys, it’s Justice Smith. Hello. Jurassic World 2, I can’t talk about it, but it’s going to be really cool. There’s going to be dinosaurs and stuff. So look out for that.

There is then a question to him about something at the end of May where he responds that he will be in London until June filming the Jurassic World sequel. There has been rumors that the end of filming would be sometime in June or July, so if Smith is there on the last day it appears filming is scheduled to wrap up sometime in June. Though there is always the chance Smith is scheduled to end his filming before the rest of the actors. See the full 28 second clip below.

"Jurassic World 2" star Justice Smith sending out a brief special message on the sequel.. Smith says he will be staying and remaining with us filming in London, U.K. all the way up until June 2017, meaning the possibility of part or most of its cast and filming extensively being centred and taking place within London during this period. English actors Toby Jones and Rafe Spall are expected to appear alongside returning stars (and American representatives) Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard. London and Hawaii will be the home and setting of filming over the next couple of months with much of the films setting taking place on the mainland. Filming will begin in February next month in both London and Hawaii. Ed Verreaux Returns for a Fourth Trip to Jurassic

Here is a fun little tid-bit for fans of behind the scenes information on Jurassic movies. Ed Verreaux, who worked on Jurassic Park and then later did the production design for Jurassic Park 3 and Jurassic World, is returning for the sequel to Jurassic World as an illustrator in the art department. This news comes from IMDB which may make some raise an eyebrow to this news however it should be noted that for information regarding the crew on a film’s production, the site is usually reliable.

If this were to be true, Ed Verreaux would be one of the few individuals to have had a hand in four of the five Jurassic movies. It is also nice to see that the Jurassic World sequel might be continuing the trend from Jurassic World by bringing in veterans of the Jurassic franchise, which may in turn help keep the spirit of the original Jurassic Park series alive through the new movies. Stay tuned to the site for more information as the sequel begins filming in a short few months.
